    There are some really nice scenery effects, and the Pokemon are finally animated, but a lot of the game looks dated.

    The music is vastly improved, with a lot of variety and some cool layered tracks. But some of the tracks are annoying and the sound effects are still basic.

    The story alone is 40 hours or so. You wanna catch 'em all? Be prepared to spend hundreds, if not thousands, of hours with this game.

    As an RPG, Pokemon finds an amazing balance between accesibility and depth. There is something for every type of gamer in here.
